Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule appointments for various imaging modalities, including Ultrasound, X-Ray, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, CT, and Vascular Ultrasound.
• Manage high volumes of inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and courtesy.
• Verify patient demographic, insurance, and provider information for accurate scheduling.
• Provide detailed exam preparation instructions to patients.
• Ensure accurate and complete physician orders, coordinating with providers as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of scheduling guidelines and departmental workflows.
• Register, check in, and dispatch patients while ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations and quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records and scheduling systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years call center experience.
• Experience in radiology scheduling.

Preferences

• Front desk experience.
• Experience with MACS Enterprise scheduling system.
• Recent experience in an acute care hospital.
