Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Tech to join our team. As a Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images and providing exceptional patient care. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of radiology technology, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient experiences. Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images using various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and maintaining patient safety
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including addressing patient concerns and providing emotional support

Requirements

Education
  • Associate's degree in RadiologyTechnology or related field
  • Completion of a radiology technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education inRadiologic Technology (JRCERT)
Experience:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Radiology Tech in a hospital or imaging center setting
  •  Experience with various imaging modalities, includingX-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of radiology technology and imaging principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and safety
Certifications/Licenses:
  • ARRT (AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (R)
  • Current state license as a Radiology Tech (if required)
