Job Title : Radiology Technologist
Shift:
12-hour nights (36 hours/week)
Schedule: FridaySunday, 6:30 PM7:00 AM
Position Type: Weekend position (works all weekends)
Contract Length: Typically 13 weeks
Patient Population: Adults, pediatrics, and neonates
Environment: Level I Adult & Pediatric Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Chest Pain Center, Teaching Hospital

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT(R)
  • BLS
  • Minimum 2 years acute care radiology experience
  • Trauma experience in a Level I, II, or III facility
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Comfortable working with critically ill and trauma patients

Preferred Qualifications

  • First-time travelers accepted if they have trauma experience
  • O-arm experience preferred
  • Experience precepting students is a plus

Technical Skills Needed

General Radiography

  • Head, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, extremities
  • Bedside portable imaging
  • Trauma imaging proficiency

Operating Room

  • C-arm experience required
  • Cases include:
    • Orthopedic
    • Spine
    • Neuro
    • General surgery
    • Pediatric surgery

Equipment Used

  • Shimadzu RadSpeed rooms
  • Konica and Shimadzu portable units
  • Philips C-arms
  • O-arm systems
