Minimum of 1 year of CT experience.
Current ARRT (CT) certification.
Experience performing CT and general diagnostic X-ray procedures.
Experience in an acute care hospital, emergency department, or trauma setting.
Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills.
Interest in expanding skills through cross-training in additional imaging modalities.
Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient imaging exams.
Operate and maintain radiology and CT equipment while following quality assurance and radiation safety standards.
Produce diagnostic-quality images for interpretation by radiologists.
Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs.
Accurately document exams and patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Maintain compliance with ARRT, state licensing, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Participate in the department's CT cross-training program (for eligible X-Ray Technologists) and successfully obtain ARRT (CT) certification within the required timeframe.
