Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.
Every day you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.
To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses. The Rad Tech IV will assist the Radiology Manager in staff scheduling, ACR, and other day-to-day activities.
We are offering a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
Job Requirements
Minimum:
Must have satisfactorily completed a formal radiologic technology training program accredited through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and the California Department of Public Health, Radiation Health Branch (CDPH-RHB).
7 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist, upon hire and working in and proficient in 2 advanced modalities or 5 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist and working and proficient in 3 advanced modalities, one of which must be CT or Mammography.
Medical Radiographer: CA, upon hire
Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA, upon hire
Certified, working, and proficient in 3 advanced modalities, one of which must be CT or Mammography
Venipuncture training certificate
Completion of annual safety training.
Completes and maintains required unit specific training.
