Responsibilities

Create high-quality diagnostic images by expertly positioning patients and selecting precise exposure factors to ensure medical clarity.

Administer contrast media and medications with clinical accuracy, strictly following safety regulations to prioritize patient well-being.

Protect patients and staff by enforcing rigorous radiation safety protocols and preventing any unnecessary exposure.

Lead the seamless delivery of care by managing high-quality image transfers to PACS, ensuring the medical team has immediate access to accurate data.

Maintain a high-standard clinical environment by troubleshooting equipment and organizing procedure areas to ensure a safe, efficient patient flow.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • General Radiography is also required in addition to any specialty.
  • State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associates degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
