Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology: Required
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification: Required
- Current certification in one modality and ability to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, PET): Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform various radiographic, mammographic, computed tomography, and/or ultrasound examinations consistent with experience.
- Transport and transfer patients safely between gurneys and wheelchairs.
- Conduct mobile imaging examinations as necessary.
- Safely prepare contrast agents for medical imaging procedures.
- Perform testing on defibrillators and check the integrity of emergency equipment.
- Assist in achieving departmental objectives and creating an enabling environment for the medical imaging department.
