Position Summary:
Under the leadership of the Director, Medical Imaging, the Non-Registered Radiologic Technologist is an active member of the Medical Imaging team that delivers professional medical imaging services consistent with the strategic vision, goals, philosophy, and direction of the department and CRHS. The Non-Registered Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures at a technical level with minimal to no supervision from the Director. This position maintains the qualifications to provide care for patients across the full spectrum of age groups: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires an Associate’s degree in Radiology or Radiologic Sciences or the successful completion of a technical or vocational certificate.
This is an entry level job that requires up to two years of work-related experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and must be eligible, or working to be eligible, to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification examination. Maintains a current certification in Basic Life Support (If BLS verification is not current upon hire, it must be obtained within three (3) months of hire.)
