Radiologic Technologist/X-Ray Technologist in Delaware! 

• Location: Newark, DE/Northern Delaware locations
• Schedule: Full-time; no weekends or holidays
• Compensation: $27–$40/hour
• No weekends/Holidays!

Position overview:

The Radiologic Technologist will provide outpatient orthopaedic imaging services, perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, apply radiation-safety principles, and evaluate images for technical quality. This is a patient-facing position within a busy orthopaedic practice.

Requirements:

• ARRT registration
• Active Delaware Radiologic Technologist license
• Experience working with PACS systems
• Strong patient-care and customer-service skills
• Ability to position and assist patients, including lifting or supporting patients when necessary
• Ability to work professionally with physicians, patients, and other staff members

Responsibilities include:

• Performing diagnostic X-rays using the PACS system
• Reviewing clinical information before examinations
• Preparing the X-ray room and explaining procedures to patients
• Positioning patients and adjusting equipment to obtain quality images
• Modifying standard views when a patient’s condition requires it
• Following radiation-protection procedures
• Reviewing images for quality before saving them to the patient’s file
• Updating the EMR and PACS
• Maintaining a clean, organized imaging area
• Assisting with supplies, braces, equipment sterilization, and other departmental needs
