What You Will Do:Patient Care & Positioning: Prepare and position patients accurately, selecting appropriate anatomic and technical exposure factors while closely monitoring for any abnormal activity during procedures.
Imaging Quality & PACS Administration: Capture and deliver high-quality radiologic films to physicians for precise diagnosis, ensuring prompt submission to PACS with correct lead markers, patient data, and clinical history.
Radiation Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to radiation safety guidelines to protect patients from unnecessary exposure, and safely administer contrast media and medications within the established scope of practice and state/federal regulations.
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Ensure proper functioning of imaging equipment, promptly reporting malfunctions to appropriate personnel and implementing lock/tag-out procedures when necessary.
Operations & Quality Control: Monitor and recommend updates to clinical protocols while maintaining a clean, orderly, and well-stocked department, including procedure rooms and storage areas.
