Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality radiologic exams to support quality patient care
- Educate patients on radiologic procedures and safety protocols.
- Consistently performs radiation safety in accordance with ALARA
- Support the radiologist and evaluates imaging for quality and accuracy
- Assist patients with positioning for the exam
- Ensure that imaging equipment is in optimum order and inform the appropriate person when repairs are needed.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited ARRT Radiology Technology school
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License within 6 months of hire
- ARRT (R) registered
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Preference will be given to ARRT (R) registered Radiologic Technologist with prior work experience in a healthcare setting.
