Job Title:

CT Technologist (Computed Tomography Technologist)

Detroit, MI 48236

Duration:

26 weeks

Shift:

5*8 hr shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality computerized tomography (CT) scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate CT equipment and adjust imaging parameters to obtain optimal diagnostic images
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in compliance with facility standards
• Ensure proper use of radiation safety practices to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver effective patient care
• May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of imaging equipment

Required Qualification:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Valid state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist (if applicable)
• Knowledge of CT imaging procedures and patient care standards

Current Certifications:

• ARRT (R) – Registered Radiologic Technologist
• ARRT (CT) – Computed Tomography Certification (preferred or required based on facility)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in CT imaging
• Experience with general diagnostic radiology procedures
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
