    Description

    Job Summary: As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations on patients using radiographic technology. Your role is crucial in assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct imaging examinations using X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and other radiographic equipment.
    • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
    • Position patients and equipment to capture the correct area and produce clear images.
    • Maintain patient records, documenting procedures and results.
    • Collaborate with radiologists to analyze images and determine diagnoses.
    • Ensure equipment functionality, performing routine maintenance and reporting any malfunctions.
    • Adhere to safety protocols, minimizing radiation exposure to patients and staff.
    • Assist in the training of new staff and students.

    Qualifications:

    • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
    • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
    • State licensure, if required.
    • Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment.
    • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
