Responsibilities


Position Summary:


In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health the Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic fluoroscopic and specialized procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision under the general direction of a radiologist and radiology administration. Incumbents in this position shall comply with all applicable laws and rules including the Dignity Health Standards of Conduct and Dignity Health policies and procedures that apply to his/her job responsibilities seek guidance when in doubt promptly report any potential or suspected violation of Dignity Health Standards of Conduct Dignity Health policy or procedure or applicable laws/regulations and when requested assist Dignity Health personnel in investigating all allegations of violation. When called upon the incumbent shall assist in risk evaluation and work collaboratively with facility/entity leaders to implement monitor and mitigate risk corrective plans outlined by the Compliance program.


Qualifications


Minimum:


+ Must have satisfactorily completed a formal radiologic technology training program accredited through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and the California Department of Public Health Radiation Health Branch (CDPH-RHB).

+ AHA Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) required

+ Diagnostic Radiology Required (CRT).

+ Letter from ARRT statinq employee has passed exam will be accepted in Iieu of Diagnostic certificate for up to 6 months (then Diagnostic Cert required).

+ Fluoroscopy and venipuncture certificate due within 6 months of hire or placement.

+ RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST (CT RTT); RADIOLOGIC HEALTH FLOUROSCOPY (RG RHF) required within 90 days of hire; BASIC LIFE SUPPORT-AHA (CT CPRBLS); ARRT
