Radiology Technician

Required Skills:
- Proficiency in operating a variety of diagnostic imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound machines
- Strong understanding of radiologic principles, safety protocols, and radiation protection standards
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately position patients in imaging procedures
- Good communication skills to explain procedures and ensure patient comfort
- Knowledge of patient confidentiality and data collection regulations
- Ability to work under supervision and collaborate effectively with medical staff
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with advanced imaging techniques or specialized modalities
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent
- Bilingual abilities to assist diverse patient populations
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related healthcare discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on radiology experience in a clinical setting
- Valid state licensure and certification
Other Requirements:
- Must hold current licensure and certification as a Radiology Technician
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Ability to travel, if required, with applicable reimbursements
- Commitment to maintaining certification and continuing education
