Position Summary:
The Imaging Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. This role includes reviewing patient histories, educating patients about procedures, preparing and administering contrast media or medications (as authorized), and continuously monitoring patient condition throughout the exam. The technologist selects appropriate imaging parameters, ensures patient safety, and maintains equipment functionality through regular quality control and troubleshooting. Additionally, this position is accountable for accurately positioning patients, producing and evaluating diagnostic images, correcting any quality issues, and properly documenting and transmitting results.
