Job ResponsibilitiesDemonstrates the ability to perform routine portable and fluoroscopic procedures, as well as operating room procedures, as requested by referring physicians as well as providing all required documentation on requisition.
Establishes effective communication with referring physicians, radiologists, ancillary departments and customers to ensure quality patient care is rendered.
Ensures proper safety procedures are met, and radiation safety practices are adhered to according to ALARA principles.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of UHS information service systems.
Provides patient education and thorough documentation to provide the best quality of care for all patient needs.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Required:
Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology
New York State License as Radiologic Technologist or eligible
ARRT Registration
Preferred:
CPR certification within the first three months of hire.
