We're seeking a compassionate and motivated Radiology Technologist to join a busy, patient-focused urgent care clinic in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. Schedule
- 0.9 FTE (38 hours/week)
- Rotating schedule consisting of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
- Clinic Hours:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday–Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday pay available for worked holidays (clinic closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day)
What You'll Do
As a Radiology Technologist, you'll play an important role in both diagnostic imaging and patient care by:
- Performing diagnostic radiographic examinations
- Maintaining efficient patient flow throughout the clinic
- Assisting providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Collecting patient histories and documenting clinical information
- Obtaining and recording vital signs
- Preparing exam rooms and equipment
- Supporting physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff
- Delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced urgent care environment
No prior Medical Assistant experience? No problem! Candidates without MA experience will receive comprehensive training and mentorship.
Qualifications
Required:
- ARRT (R) Certification
- Indiana Radiologic Technologist License (or eligibility)
- Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association) or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
Preferred:
- Two years of direct patient care experience
- Medical Assistant or Patient Care Technician experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
Training & Support
- Approximately 2 weeks of dedicated orientation
- Ongoing support from experienced clinical staff
- Structured onboarding with a 90-day ramp-up period
- Comprehensive training in:
- Clinical workflows
- EKGs
- Injections
- Patient care responsibilities
- Medical Assistant competencies
