Short Description:

Performs Radiographic Services in accordance with hospital standards, State, and Federal regulations. Technologist performs at a satisfactory level of productivity as compared to their peers. Technologist must have a full knowledge of Radiographic Positioning and Technique. Practices in accordance with National Patient Safety Goals.
Verifies the presence of images and accurate documentation in the Picture Achieving Communication System. Assures accuracy of information provided and the quality of images. Interviews patients relative to pertinent information and clinical history to complete the necessary forms. Provides patients, families and others with instructions and educational information to complete the requested procedure. Provides the necessary documentation to insure compliance in a multidisciplinary approach for patient care.

Education Requirements:

Satisfactory Completion of Radiological Technology Program. 

License/Certification Requirements:

Licensed By: The New Jersey DEP Bureau of Radiological Health.
