Job Description
Performs Radiographic Services in accordance with hospital standards, State, and Federal regulations. Technologist performs at a satisfactory level of productivity as compared to their peers. Technologist must have a full knowledge of Radiographic Positioning and Technique. Practices in accordance with National Patient Safety Goals.
Responsibilities:
• Verifies the presence of images and accurate documentation in the Picture Achieving Communication System. • Assures accuracy of information provided and the quality of images. • Interviews patients relative to pertinent information and clinical history to complete the necessary forms. • Provides patients, families and others with instructions and educational information to complete the requested procedure. • Provides the necessary documentation to insure compliance in a multidisciplinary approach for patient care.
Education Requirements
Satisfactory Completion of Radiological Technology Program.
License/Certification Requirements
Licensed By: The New Jersey DEP Bureau of Radiological Health.
