What Were Looking For

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED, required • Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program • Certification required within 6 months of hire post-graduation from an accredited Radiology Program, required • 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred

Licensure/Certification:

• ARRT certification in Radiography - RT(R), required • Applicable state licensure as required, required • Post-graduates from an accredited Radiology Program with be required to pass their ARRT registry within 6 months of completing program, required

Additional Skills (required):

• Applies principles of ALARA to minimize radiation exposure to patient, self, and others • Demonstrates current knowledge of federal and state radiation safety laws • Properly utilizes personnel monitoring devices • Ensures proper equipment performance and schedules maintenance for emergent needs • Properly operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment • Independently performs radiographic and non-interpretive fluoroscopic procedures, including intraoperative and mobile procedures, as prescribed by a licensed practitioner • Assists a licensed practitioner in the performance of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including all intraoperative and mobile procedures including the following: ERCP's, bronchoscopy, mini-c-arms, post reductions. Mobile imaging including lines and pacers and neonates.
