Job Summary and Qualifications Radiology Technologist Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Florida-licensed Radiology Technologist on a full-time, part-time, PRN, per diem, as-needed basis. You will take radiographs, x-rays of patients, which will assist physicians in their diagnoses and treatments, and you will perform procedures accurately and in a careful, compassionate, and respectful manner.

Your tasks and responsibilities may include:

• Possess sound and thorough knowledge of all diagnostic radiographic procedures and related equipment, including surgical, portable, trauma, general, and fluoroscopic radiographic procedures. • Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images, assuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation, utilizing appropriate lead markers, as well as date and time stickers where indicated. • Select proper and accurate technical factors and techniques to accommodate patient and assist in administration of contrast media when indicated. • Prepare transfer and position patients as needed, ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated. • Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time. • Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues, to include the radiologist.

Qualifications To be considered for this position, you will need:

• Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved school. • Valid ARRT certification. • Clear, active Florida Department of Health licensure, CRT. • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. • Ability to perform work which requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
