Job Title: Radiology Technologist – Night Shift (Contract)
Location: Hopedale, IL 61747
Job Type: 13-Week Contract
Shift: Nights | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, and surgical imaging. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and adherence to established clinical protocols. This role serves as the primary patient-facing imaging professional within the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional appearance and comply with facility dress code standards
- Participate in mandatory education, training, and in-service programs
- Ensure full compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
- Accurately maintain radiology records, file/distribute reports, and complete required documentation
- Review imaging requisitions for clinical accuracy and patient demographic verification
- Assess patient condition and ensure safety, including proper use of restraints/support devices when needed
- Verify technical accuracy of imaging studies and communicate findings appropriately
- Ensure correct anatomical positioning and proper image labeling
- Utilize electronic systems for documentation and charge capture
- Prioritize patient care and implement physician orders efficiently
- Provide coverage across multiple imaging modalities as required
- Assist in onboarding and training of new team members
- Maintain patient comfort, safety, and adherence to imaging safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT (R) certification
- Valid Illinois Radiology Technologist license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- CT certification preferred but not required
- Minimum 2 years of radiology experience preferred
