Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity to apply prescribed ionizing radiation in order to obtain a radiologic diagnosis. Other duties as assigned. Will also follow the principles and guidelines as set forth by the American College of Radiology. Other duties as assigned. General Responsibilities: Performs a full range of diagnostic, specialty, invasive, surgical, and endoscopic imaging procedures. Operates specialized equipment, including fluoroscopy, C-arm, and cystoscopy systemes, while ensuring accurate documentation of contrast media usage. Independently selects and adjusts technical factors to produce high-quality imaging results. Maintains equipment cleanliness, functionality, and proper operation standards. Troubleshoots radiologic and fluoroscopy equipment issues and communicates effectively with others. Demonstrates flexibility in modifying techniques and procedures to meet patient and exam-specific needs. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Satisfactory completion of formal radiological training in an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Minimum 3 years' of experience in a hospital setting preferred. State License through the Florida Bureau of Radiation Control is mandatory. Preferably registered by and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR/BLS certification required. Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
