Job Title: Radiology Technologist

Location: Cincinnati, OH 45219
Duration: 13 Weeks
Employment Type: Contract


Work Schedule

  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM

  • Monday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM


Compensation

  • Local Candidates:$1,600 – $1,800 per week

  • Traveler Candidates:$2,000 – $2,400 per week


Job Summary

The Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and high-quality care. This role requires versatility within the radiology department, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic procedures as ordered by physicians

  • Ensure proper radiation safety practices for patients and staff

  • Operate and maintain radiology equipment, reporting issues promptly

  • Assist with scheduling and coordination of imaging procedures

  • Utilize transport systems to facilitate patient movement

  • Access and manage patient records within computer systems

  • Collaborate with clinical staff and other departments professionally

  • Support on-call operations and assist with staffing needs as required

  • Communicate equipment or operational issues to leadership and clinical engineering

  • Assist in training and supporting Radiologic Technology students


Requirements

Certifications & Licenses:

  • ARRT certification required

  • Active Ohio Radiologic License required

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association required


Education & Experience

  • Graduate of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program

  • Minimum of 2 years of radiology experience required


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of radiologic imaging techniques and safety protocols

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
