Radiology Technologist – Travel Assignment
Location: Hopedale, Illinois
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to join a fast-paced imaging department. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, and Surgical imaging while ensuring patient safety, imaging quality, and excellent patient care.
This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, and Surgical imaging
- Review patient requisitions and verify examination accuracy and demographic information
- Ensure patient safety through proper use of support and restraint devices when necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within hospital computer systems
- Review completed examinations for technical accuracy and communicate findings appropriately
- Ensure proper anatomical orientation and image identification on all studies
- Perform computer operations for exam documentation and charge entry
- Prioritize patient care based on urgency and physician orders
- Assist with orientation and training of new staff members
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital confidentiality standards
- Support department and office-related duties as needed
- Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and department standards
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited/approved School of Radiology
- ARRT (R) Certification required
- Active Illinois Radiology License required
- Current BLS/BCLS Certification required
- Strong patient care and communication skills required
Preferred Qualifications
- CPR/AED Certification
- CT Certification
- Previous hospital-based radiology experience preferred
