Title

Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R)

Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality imaging standards. The ideal candidate will operate radiology equipment, assist patients during procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with healthcare professionals in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures according to physician orders
  • Prepare and position patients for radiologic examinations
  • Explain procedures to patients and provide support during imaging
  • Operate DR/CR radiology equipment following established protocols
  • Adjust exposure settings and positioning to obtain high-quality images
  • Practice radiation safety and patient shielding techniques
  • Enter and maintain patient information in electronic medical records
  • Monitor and maintain radiology equipment functionality
  • Report equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel
  • Maintain examination rooms and stock medical/radiology supplies
  • Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
  • Assist with patient monitoring and support during procedures when required
  • Participate in department meetings, education, and process improvement activities
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff

Requirements

  • 0–6 months of related Radiologic Technologist experience
  • Knowledge of DR and/or CR radiography equipment and imaging protocols
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Basic computer and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing work conditions and responsibilities
  • Ability to wear lead aprons for extended periods

Education

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program

Certifications & Licensure

  • ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiology) required
  • BLS certification required
