Radiology Technologist - X-Ray - Helena Multispecialty Outpatient Clinic

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for taking X-Ray Exams and following established procedures for patient care and safety. Collaborates with the Clinic Office Nurse and/or Provider in providing basic nursing care for clinic patients. Receives direction from: Radiology Manager, Nurses, Providers Clinical Managers/Supervisors

EDUCATION:

• Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program, required.

LICENSE(S)/CERTIFICATION(S):

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration or eligibility, required.
• Current State Licensure, required.
• BLS, required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Working knowledge of X-ray Equipment and Procedures, required.
• Anatomy and Physiology, required.
• Knowledge of Radiation Safety, required.
• Ability to follow and apply written direction, required.
• Attention to Detail when performing radiological exams, required.
• Computer and keyboard skills, required.

OTHER:

• Use of unusual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
