PeaceHealth Sacred Heart RiverBend Medical Center is hiring a full-time Night Shift Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) to join our Diagnostic Imaging team in Springfield, Oregon. This position is based at a busy Level II Trauma Center serving Springfield, Eugene, and surrounding communities.

Pay Range

  • Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM-7:00 AM

Responsibilities

As a Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures while delivering safe, compassionate patient care.

Primary Duties

  • Perform routine and emergency diagnostic X-ray examinations
  • Position patients accurately for radiographic procedures
  • Operate digital radiographic equipment
  • Follow radiation safety and infection prevention standards
  • Review patient histories and prior imaging studies
  • Utilize PACS and RIS systems for imaging workflow and documentation
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and care teams

Additional Imaging Responsibilities May Include

Portable radiography

  • Fluoroscopy procedures
  • Surgical imaging support

Work Environment

  • Full-time Night Shift (1.0 FTE)
  • Hospital-based Diagnostic Imaging Department
  • Level II Trauma Center
  • Smaller overnight team environment
  • Consistent patient volume and focused workflow

Minimum Qualifications

Required

  • Accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT (Radiography) certification
  • Oregon Radiologic Technologist License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
  • Experience using PACS and RIS systems
  • Strong communication, time management, and patient care skills

Also Considered

  • ARRT-eligible candidates (certification required within six months of hire)
  • OBMI temporary license holders awaiting ARRT certification
  • Recent graduates encouraged to apply

Preferred

One or more years of Radiologic Technologist experience in a hospital, emergency department, or trauma setting

Working Conditions: This role requires frequent standing, walking, reaching and the use of fine motor skills while operating medical equipment. The ability to occasionally life and move up to 30 pounds and assist with patient handling (up to 35 pounds, with assistive devices as appropriate) is required. Regular exposure to biohazards, bodily fluids, and airborne particles is expected. Vision, hearing and communication abilities sufficient to safely perform the essential functions of the position are required.
