Job Description:

Bonus Information: • Up to $5,000.00 Sign On Bonus • Up to $3,000.00 Relocation Bonus

Schedule Information: • Full-time Days • Schedule availability varies and will be confirmed at the time of the interview

Locations: • AdventHealth Waterman: Tavares, FL

Responsibilities:

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, providers, team members, and others of diverse backgrounds. • Moves, positions, and manipulates radiographic equipment to complete requested procedures safely. • Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist's scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition, transporting patient, and using proper infection control techniques. • Ability to follow basic radiation safety concepts of time, distance and shielding to keep exposure levels ALARA for patient and staff. • Performs radiographic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images that meet department standards. • Positions patients and equipment, selecting technical factors to produce radiographic images safely and in a timely manner. • Performs imaging with correct patient demographic and examination information. Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR and PACS systems.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging to include Surgery and Trauma [Required] • Previous Radiologic Technologist experience [Preferred] • One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers [Required] • Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately [Required] • Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment, if applicable per facility [Required] • Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals [Required] • Able to fully use all Radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment [Required] • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required] • Must be able to use computer system for data entry and retrieval [Required] • Patient care skills to care for Infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations [Required] • Maintain responsibility for all required registries and licenses to perform Diagnostic Imaging [Required] • Ability to perform radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail [Required] • This position requires knowledge of the use of computerized and radiographic equipment to perform diagnostic procedures in a manner consistent with minimal radiation exposure and maximum image quality [Required]

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required] • Associate [Preferred] • Bachelors [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ year experience preferably in radiology or a new graduate of accredited radiologic technology program [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Technologist - Radiography (RT(R (ARRT [Required] • Certified Radiologic Tech (R.T. -CERT [Required] • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS [Required]
