Location: Arch Street – Long Island City, NY
Pay: $26/hr

We are currently seeking 5 Rail Car Technicians for a long-term opportunity in Long Island City, NY.
Electrical wiring experience is required. Candidates need hands-on experience with wire harnesses, cable routing, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Assemble wire harnesses and terminate wire ends.
- Route cables and wiring based on drawings and schematics.
- Read and troubleshoot electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Perform soldering and electrical connections.
- Troubleshoot wiring issues and perform repairs.
- Perform mechanical assembly and repairs as needed.
- Read and work from blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Use hand, power, electrical, and pneumatic tools.
Required Experience
- Electrical wiring experience is required.
- Experience working with wire harnesses.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
Experience in rail, avionics, military, automotive, aerospace, electrical assembly, or electro-mechanical work is a strong fit.
