You'll monitor product flow, verify loading accuracy, perform quality checks, and assist with positioning railcars throughout the loading process.Previous railroad experience is not required. We provide hands-on training for dependable candidates who are comfortable working outdoors, around industrial equipment, and at elevated heights.Candidates with experience in general labor, manufacturing, agriculture, construction, mining, warehouse operations, heavy equipment, material handling, or other industrial environments are encouraged to apply.What You'll Be DoingYour day-to-day responsibilities will include:Monitor the transfer of bulk fertilizer products into railcarsObserve material flow to ensure product is loading properlyConfirm the correct product is being loaded into the assigned railcarMonitor load quantities and help prevent incorrect or incomplete loadsPerform product and quality checks to help prevent contaminationUse remote-controlled equipment to assist with railcar positioning during loading operationsCommunicate with team members while railcars are being moved and positionedAccess elevated platforms located above railcars to monitor loading activitiesClimb ladders and use required fall-protection equipmentInspect loading areas for potential hazards or equipment concernsReport product, equipment, or safety issues immediatelyComplete required loading, inspection, and production documentationMaintain clean and organized work areasParticipate in required safety meetings and job-specific trainingFollow company, customer, and site-specific operating proceduresAssist with general labor and other terminal duties as neededSchedule RequirementsThis operation runs on a rotating swing schedule, so applicants must be available for both day and night shifts.This position may also require schedule flexibility based on production and customer needs.
