The Railway Safety Inspector - Operating Practice Option is a permanent, full-time position with the Alabama Public Service Commission. Positions are located throughout the state. This is skilled technical work in the regulation, inspection, and investigation of railroad track, railway cars and/or locomotives, and railway carrier's general operating practices with the enforcement of federal and state safety laws, rules, and regulations.
