Raleigh - Cook/Kitchen Prep/Dishwasher

Join the team at Wild Wing Cafe as Back of House Staff where you will work in our kitchen area as Cooks, Food Prep, or Dishwashers. We are seeking skilled individuals who are adaptable, hard-working, and willing to assist in various kitchen tasks such as food preparation, dishwashing, and meal cooking. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant's kitchen to deliver a great guest dining experience focused on outstanding service and food safety.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate great interpersonal skills
- Prepare and cook meals following recipes accurately and efficiently
- Ensure timely food preparation and assist with menu planning
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and adhere to food safety standards
- Use the POS system effectively and perform various side work tasks
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Bend, kneel, and lift items weighing up to 25 lbs frequently
- Be flexible to work AM, PM, and weekend shifts
- Have reliable transportation and familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Efficiently handle kitchen equipment safely and work effectively in a restaurant or catering setting

Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of previous experience in the food industry preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, menu planning, and food handling procedures
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and ServSafe certification
