The Opportunity

As a Raleigh - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment within our Assurance practice, gaining exposure to digital assurance and audit methodologies. This role offers the chance to support client-facing teams, contributing to projects that enhance transparency and compliance in financial reporting. You will be involved in tasks that uphold integrity and regulatory standards, allowing you to focus on developing your skills and understanding of the industry.

As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects and conducting research, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC''s practices. You will perform basic tasks while observing professional work environments, contributing to the team''s success. This role emphasizes the importance of adopting a learning mindset and taking ownership of your development, while appreciating diverse perspectives and actively listening to feedback.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting unique challenges and scope. Responsibilities

  • Supporting audit teams in conducting independent evaluations of financial reporting
  • Participating in the application of auditing methodologies to assess compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into digital assurance practices
  • Assisting in the preparation and analysis of data to uphold transparency and integrity in financial assessments
  • Engaging in basic tasks and research to contribute to the team''s success in client support
  • Applying a learning mindset to develop personal skills and understanding of PwC''s practices
  • Gathering information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns in financial data
  • Collaborating with team members to enhance decision-making processes and drive business forward

What You Must Have

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor''s degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
  • At least a 3.0 overall GPA
  • Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual''s skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
