Position Purpose

As our Master Data Clerk, you will support the integrity and accuracy of product information within the merchandising system database. This role is responsible for maintaining master data standards, processing item setup requests, auditing data quality, and supporting the resolution of data-related issues. This position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and commitment to data governance standards.

What You'll Do & How You'll Make a Difference

  • Enter and maintain item information within the merchandising system database
  • Process new item setup requests from Category Managers and Category Analysts
  • Validate data accuracy before additions and updates are made
  • Maintain database fields and hierarchies to preserve data integrity
  • Support master data standards and governance practices
  • Audit merchandising data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Respond to store-reported issues submitted through The Hive
  • Partner with Category Managers and Analysts to resolve data issues
  • Identify and recommend solutions for data discrepancies and errors
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve master data questions and concerns

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • One (1) year of related data coordination and/or data entry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Master Data Governance experience preferred

Required Knowledge

  • Microsoft Office Suite

Work Environment

Work is performed in a normal business office environment.
