• Shift 2: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM — 3 positions

Position Overview

RMA Worldwide is seeking reliable, professional, and safety-focused RamSafe Shuttle Operators to support our VCU transportation operation in Richmond, VA.

RamSafe Operators provide safe and dependable transportation for students, faculty, staff, and other members of the VCU community during evening and overnight hours.

Our primary recruiting goal is to hire CDL-qualified operators, but we are also accepting qualified candidates who do not currently hold a CDL for select positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers along assigned RamSafe routes.
• Provide friendly, professional, and courteous customer service.
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, dispatch instructions, and VCU procedures.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle environment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors regarding delays, incidents, or operational concerns.
• Follow all RMA, VCU, DOT, and applicable safety requirements.
• Assist passengers as needed.
• Complete required trip documentation and incident reports.
• Maintain reliable and consistent attendance for scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

CDL candidates are strongly preferred.

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• CDL with Passenger Endorsement preferred.
• Candidates without a CDL may be considered for designated positions.
• Ability to work consistent evening or overnight hours.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screenings and training.
• CDL operators must meet applicable DOT requirements.
