Ramp Operations Supervisor

Munich Airport NJ LLC is an US-based subsidiary of the German Airport Operator Munich Airport. Munich Airport NJ LLC is responsible for the operations, maintenance, and concession management of Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)! We are looking for a Ramp Operations Supervisor to join our team as soon as possible. 

Ramp Operations Supervisor 

You will be part of a quickly growing team, helping not only to create an attractive passenger terminal, but also to develop the Terminal Operator company with your expertise and personality. 

​Your Future Responsibilities 

• Ensure safe operations of New Terminal A's ramp 

• Routinely check on general ramp surface conditions, including cleanliness, clarity of all paint markings and signs and functionality of infrastructure (e.g., lighting, aircraft docking systems, etc.) 

• Inspect correct parking of aircraft, vehicles, and equipment 

• Conduct daily work in close cooperation and coordination with Operations Control Center (OCC) and ramp control situated in the Virtual Apron Control Room (VACR) 

• Coordination of non-standard aircraft parking procedures 

• Ensure immediate reporting of any incidents, accidents, and failures of technical components at the New Terminal A 

• Monitoring of construction and maintenance projects on the ramp 

• Maintain and complete daily log for shift handover 

• Other duties as assigned by the Terminal Operations Manager 

Your Education & Training 

• High School Diploma or equivalent certificate 

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record 

Your Skills & Experience 

• Relevant experience in airport airside operations OR 

• Five years of experience in a ramp operations leadership role 

• Extensive knowledge of airside processes 

• High level of independence and responsibility 

• In-depth experience and knowledge of the airport topography  

• Full understanding of ramp control to flight deck communication 

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely on ground-to-ground radios 

• Basic knowledge of MS Office
