Key Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, configure, and test 5G RAN and Core network components in lab and production-like environments.
• Work with 5G network architecture, including gNB, CU, DU, RU, 5G Core, AMF, SMF, UPF, and related interfaces.
• Understand and work with O-RAN architecture and components, including O-RU, O-DU, O-CU, Near-RT RIC, Non-RT RIC, and SMO.
• Perform end-to-end system integration and testing of 5G/O-RAN solutions.
• Develop and execute test cases, analyze test results, identify defects, and support issue resolution.
• Perform troubleshooting across RAN, Core, networking, cloud, and containerized environments.
• Deploy and manage network functions and applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with AWS cloud services for deployment, integration, testing, and infrastructure management.
• Use Linux command-line tools and Bash scripting for automation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Integrate and validate systems using REST APIs and other service interfaces.
• Use Git for source-code management, version control, branching, merging, and collaboration.
• Collaborate with development, QA, network engineering, and DevOps teams to resolve integration and deployment issues.
• Document integration procedures, test results, troubleshooting steps, and technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Good understanding and hands-on work experience with 5G cellular RAN and Core network components and architecture.
• Strong understanding of O-RAN architecture, interfaces, components, and deployment models.
• Experience in system integration, validation, verification, and end-to-end testing.
• Good working knowledge of Linux operating systems and Bash scripting.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience working with REST APIs, API testing, and system integration.
• Good knowledge of Git and software development/version-control workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze logs, network traces, system behavior, and integration failures.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of 3GPP 5G standards and interfaces.
• Experience with cloud-native network functions (CNFs) and containerized telecom workloads.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, VLAN, routing, and IP networking.
• Experience with 5G/O-RAN testing tools and network simulators.
• Understanding of observability, monitoring, and log-analysis tools.

Education

• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Relevant industry experience with 5G/O-RAN technologies may be considered in lieu of a specific degree.
