Job Summary

Responsible for assembling products/prototypes using tools, machines, and their own hands; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

Position involves, but is not limited to:

  • Handling material and operating equipment.
  • Benching tooling (sanding to proper surface finish).
  • Build up modeling board for CNC cutting.
  • Benching of rapid prototype parts (SLA, FDM and Urethane).
  • Composite Lay-up (fiberglass and carbon fiber).
  • Priming and painting.
  • Vac-forming and part trimming.
  • Silicone molds.
  • Vac-casting.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working in a shop environment.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with your hands.
  • Supply own tools.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
