Warner PacificRating Analyst - TX/OKPosition DescriptionThe Rating Analyst is responsible for generating employee benefit quotes, including medical and ancillary products such as dental, vision, and life insurance. This role involves gathering client information—census and group data—and applying carrier guidelines to ensure quotes are accurate, competitive, and meet client requirements. The Rating Analyst works independently and collaboratively with the sales team, brokers, and other internal departments to support employee benefits packages. A working knowledge of the Warner Pacific proprietary quoting engine and specific carrier/vendor quoting systems is required.Quote GenerationEfficiently manage a high volume of quote requests, balancing speed and accuracy to meet productivity standards.Collect and review detailed client information such as employee census data, group information, plan preferences, and coverage requirements.Generate competitive quotes for employee benefits products, including health, dental, vision, and basic life coverage within service levels using various quoting engines/platforms.Customize benefits plans to align with client needs, ensuring appropriate solutions.Generate quotes for multiple states using carrier quoting platforms.Utilize CRM platforms like Salesforce and internal systems to track pending items.Collaborate with brokers on complex quote requests to ensure delivery of detailed and accurate quotes.Client CommunicationCommunicate with clients, brokers, and sales representatives to gather necessary information and answer inquiries regarding benefits plans and pricing.Provide clear explanations of benefits plan structures, premium costs, and coverage options.Assist brokers who have questions while running their own quotes on the Warner Pacific quoting engine.Conduct external training in support of new onboarding agencies.Collaboration & Team SupportWork with the sales team, brokers, and account managers to provide support during the proposal process.Provide team support and desk coverage as needed to ensure smooth operations during absences or high‑demand periods.Assist other departments as needed to support organizational goals.Work overtime as needed, particularly during peak periods, to meet turnaround time goals and support broker timelines.Perform related responsibilities and additional tasks as needed to support team and business operations.Process ImprovementRecommend process improvements within the quoting workflow/system to enhance efficiency, minimize errors, and improve turnaround times.Collaborate with the internal process improvement team to enhance quoting systems, driving greater automation and accuracy while actively participating in system testing.Propose changes to enhance the customer experience throughout the quoting process.Participate in projects as assigned by manager or leadership team.Market & Product KnowledgeStay updated on trends in employee benefits offerings, plan designs, and the competitive landscape to provide the best possible quotes and recommendations.Continuously monitor industry regulations (e.g., carrier 411) and compliance standards to maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the employee benefits market.Customer ServiceRespond promptly to customer inquiries within service level, delivering exceptional service throughout the quoting process.Promptly acknowledge urgent requests upon receipt to ensure timely response and action.Respond to client inquiries, concerns, or requests for adjustments related to their benefits packages and work to resolve any issues promptly and effectively.Expected Leadership QualitiesTreat all employees and internal/external customers with respect and foster a positive work environment.Adhere to company policies regarding punctuality, attendance, workplace conduct, and professionalism.Adapt to change and encourage a positive, adaptable mindset among colleagues.Demonstrate strong judgment, integrity, and accountability in all aspects of job performance.Independently seek out additional work from current or other departments as time permits.Complete assignments on time and proactively seek additional responsibilities when possible.Additional Skills and RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Minimum 3 years of quoting experience as an Associate Rating Analyst or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge of all employee benefits products such as group health, dental, vision, and other ancillary products.Proficiency in quoting software, CRM/Salesforce, Microsoft Office suite, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent customer service skills.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Demonstrate respect and professionalism in all internal and external interactions.Working ConditionsPosition allows remote work; occasional in‑office attendance may be required for meetings and collaborations.Full‑time, Monday to Friday, with overtime during peak periods, holidays, and weekends as directed by management.Minimal travel may be required for client meetings or training sessions.CompensationHourly Range: $21.14 - $31.51 per hour.Actual compensation may vary from the posted range based on experience, education, skill level, and/or geographical location.We offer a range of market‑competitive benefits including merit increases, paid holidays, PTO, medical, dental, vision, short‑ and long‑term disability, 401(k) + match, and life insurance.Warner Pacific is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
