About the Role:
Join Funplay ABA Therapy Services as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with autism. We are seeking passionate individuals who thrive in a supportive environment and are eager to help our clients achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions with children in various settings.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior.
- Assist in the development of new therapeutic strategies and interventions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for clients.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance client care.
Requirements:
- Must hold a current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor towards clients and families.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to client locations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in psychology or education is a plus.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required.
