Job Description
Summary:
- Location: The Woodlands, TX (Onboarding & Training will be onsite, after that potential remote work)
- Work Mode: Flexible working days
Responsibilities:
- Creating Drill Bit Design and manufacturing packages utilizing 3-D modelling and data management systems
- Interfacing with Product Line Management, Operations, Manufacturing, and Technology groups to improve product performance
- Conducting all activities in line with our non-negotiables, and applicable processes for HSE, Quality, Legal Compliance and Cultural pillar
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Experience with 3D CAD system - experience in Siemens NX
- Familiarity with product data management systems - experience in Teamcenter PLM
- Experience with simulations software for Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
- Experience in Drill Bits; PDC, Tricone or Kymera
- Ability to select engineering techniques and utilize analysis tools to solve problems and make sound design recommendations
- Familiarity with mechanical component designs and applied methods
- Drive consistent usage of product design standards
