SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Forklift Operators for a large, well-known client in Bolingbrook, IL.  As a Forklift Operator, you will be an essential part of our client’s core operations, ensuring that quality product is received, processed, and delivered in a timely manner according to client expectations.   The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating material handling equipment for the purpose of receiving, moving, locating, relocating, and shipping merchandise. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, make safety a priority, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members!  All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($21-$22.50/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).  Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.  Available shifts include 1st or 2nd.  Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.   Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator: 
  • Verify incoming and outgoing items (inspect condition, check quantities, record data)
  • Maintain inventory by labeling, organizing, and tracking stock locations
  • Prepare products for shipment (pick, pack, load, secure)
  • Document shipments and record units sent
  • Operate powered equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) safely
  • Maintain required certifications for equipment use
  • Perform equipment inspections and request repairs as needed
  • Use scanners/systems for accurate inventory tracking
  • Monitor pallet and case conditions; report issues
  • Label orders according to customer specifications
  • Handle inventory processes (stacking, wrapping, restacking, etc.)
  • Insert or remove dividers between cases as required
  • Perform general housekeeping (cleaning, waste removal)
  • Contribute to team tasks and support warehouse operations
  • Communicate effectively within a team environment
  • Meet attendance expectations
  • Wrap pallets manually or with machines
  • Follow all safety rules and maintain a safe work environment
  • Assist supervisors with operational needs
 Required Qualifications of the Forklift Operator: 
  • Must have previous experience operating a forklift.  
  • At least one-year experience in a warehouse environment.
  • High attention to detail and safety/compliance
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
