Job Overview Responsible for moving product. A forklift operator at UNFI is required to have a strongunderstanding of their lift the pallets associate is carrying productivity measures and safety procedures.
ScheduleCandidate must be able to work our 4 Days 10 Hours. This is a AM shift 9AM - 730PM Flexible to work Mandatory OT.
Were fully operational Sunday-Saturday.
Schedule depends on business needs.

Job Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesReports to the receiving office at the beginning of each shift for the daily assignment vehicle inspectionsheet and replenishment discrepancies sheet.
Inspects assigned lift and completes vehicle inspection sheet.
Replenishes pick slots using the view request screen. If no requests exist uses the manual replenishscreen to fill empty or almost empty slots.
Maintains correct counts and logs any discrepancies in inventory.
Cuts and removes shrink wrap from all knockdowns.
Removes all empty pallets from pick locations and aisles. Separates the good bad and blue pallets andneatly stages in pallet staging area.
Parks and recharges lift in its appropriate spot at the end of the shift.
Job RequirementsUnderstanding of Safety guidelines.
Strong knowledge of applicable warehouse functions and RF systems.
WarehouseOperations preferred but not required.
At least 6 months experience on sit down or stand-up forklift.
Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Sales Positions Only For sales positions that are commission-based the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associates first year but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of 680 per week. After the introductory period as a 100 commission-based role there is no set salary. UNFIs commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved among other factors.
