Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator to join a fast-paced warehouse team. This role is responsible for safely operating a reach truck to move, store, stack, retrieve, and transport products throughout the facility while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate a reach truck in warehouse storage and distribution areas
Complete daily equipment inspections and required documentation
Load, unload, move, stack, and store products in designated warehouse locations
Retrieve products from elevated rack locations and replenish inventory as needed
Pull and prepare orders for shipment
Verify product quantities and ensure order accuracy
Use RF scanners to track inventory and maintain inventory accuracy
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities
Rotate inventory according to warehouse procedures
Report inventory discrepancies, equipment issues, and safety concerns
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of Reach Truck operating experience required
Ability to obtain and pass reach truck certification
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Basic computer skills and ability to use warehouse scanning equipment
Ability to perform basic math calculations
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for 1012 hours per shift
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
Frequent bending, reaching, stretching, and lifting throughout the shift
Ability to work at heights while operating a reach truck
Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures, lighting conditions, and noise levels
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed
