Role Overview
We are currently seeking 6 experienced and reliable Reach Truck Operators to join our warehouse team in Ludport, Groftport. The ideal candidates will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating reach trucks to move, load, unload, and store materials in high-storage warehouse environments. This role is critical to maintaining our inventory accuracy and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
•Equipment Operation: Safely operate reach-lift trucks to transport goods to designated locations within the warehouse.
•Material Handling: Load and unload shipments, ensuring accurate quantities and verifying the condition of products.
•Inventory Management: Manage inventory by accurately scanning products using RF scanners and maintaining precise stock levels.
•Maintenance & Safety: Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and regulations.
•Collaboration: Collaborate with warehouse management to optimize storage space and improve overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
•Proven experience operating a Reach Truck in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
•Valid forklift/reach truck operator certification is highly preferred.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production quotas.
•Strong attention to detail and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
•Schedule: Shifts to be determined (flexibility to work various shifts is a plus).
