React & API Developer

Job Title: React & API Developer
Location: Hybrid Position with 3 days a week in office. (Preference to MN, Denver, Irving, Atlanta or NC locations)
Duration: 3+ Months Contract possible extension

Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled React & API Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building modern, scalable web applications using React and integrating with RESTful APIs. You will closely work with lead engineers, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver high quality, secure, and performant applications.

• Develop and maintain user friendly web applications using React.js.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with teams to define API contracts and data models.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Implement and maintain secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend and API integration issues.
• Follow Agile/Scrum development practices and contribute to sprint planning.

• Strong experience with React.js, including functional components and hooks.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and status codes.
• Experience with API integration using Axios, Fetch, or similar tools.
• Strong fundamentals in HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling approaches.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Understanding of API security concepts (JWT, OAuth, CORS).
