Description:

CTG is seeking an experienced React Native Application Developer to join our client's mobile engineering team.

 

This role is ideal for a developer with deep expertise in React Native and native mobile development who enjoys building high-performance enterprise applications while integrating React Native into existing iOS and Android platforms.

 

Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 9 months

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain enterprise mobile applications using React and React Native.
  • Build scalable, high-performance cross-platform solutions for iOS and Android.
  • Create custom native modules and UI components using Swift/Objective-C and Java/Kotlin.
  • Integrate React Native into existing native (Brownfield) applications.
  • Implement deep linking, navigation, and communication between native and React Native components.
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and production deployments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with React and React Native (latest stable versions)
  • Expertise with React Hooks, component lifecycle, Redux, and Context API
  • Experience with React Native CLI and Expo
  • Native iOS development using Swift and/or Objective-C
  • Native Android development using Java and/or Kotlin
  • Experience with Xcode, Android Studio, and Gradle
  • React Native Bridge and Turbo Modules
  • Custom native module and UI component development
  • Brownfield application integration
  • Deep linking and native/React Native navigation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Banking, Financial Services, or Cards industry experience
  • Experience building enterprise-scale mobile applications
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and application performance optimization

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of software development experience with significant React Native expertise
  • Experience working within Agile development environments

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $110,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
