React Native Developer /Mobile Developer

Role: React Native Developer /Mobile Developer (Node.js & GraphQL)

Location: Louisville, KY

Duration: Long Term

Rate: $55-$60/hr

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled React Native Developer with strong hands-on experience in building cross-platform mobile applications.
• The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL, along with a passion for developing scalable, high-performance mobile solutions.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain mobile applications while contributing to backend services and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable UI components.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Build and maintain backend services using Node.js.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality applications.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data management solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest React Native, Node.js, and GraphQL trends and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in React Native application development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• Strong experience in GraphQL (Apollo Client/Server or similar).
• Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services.
• Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or MobX.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of mobile application lifecycle, deployment, and app store release processes.
• Experience with Firebase, push notifications, and mobile analytics is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
